Meet the Cherwood House Care Centre Team.

As Matron / Registered Manager of the nursing wing, we are very proud of our team of nursing staff and highly trained carers.
Our full time trainer ensures that staff receive a wide range of courses
At Cherwood House our kitchen is run by Claire Thurlow and Julie Brown.
Claire has been at Cherwood House since February 1994 starting as a kitchen assistant and is now our catering manager.
Michele White is our Office Manager and P.A to the Managing Director.
Michele joined Cherwood House in 2021.
Our residential Manager Mrs Clare Jeacock over-sees our Residential Wing and Independent Living Cottages. With over 25 years’ service to Cherwood House Care Centre her experience, along with her Deputy and a full team of permanent staff, ensures our residents time with us is spent in a safe, welcoming environment with an open-door visiting policy. Trips out in our minibus and a varied activities programme are a feature of the care and support we offer.
In March 2024 Clare completed her Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Adult Care.
Copeland McPherson is Lay Chaplain to Cherwood House and visits Cherwood usually every Friday
